Over two intensive days, the participant was introduced to the contents of the ISO 27001 standard and learned how the individual requirements are met in practice. During the Course, the participant went through the various phases of implementing an information security management system.

The associated exercises ensure that the participant, subsequently, is able to apply the acquired skills directly in the work of his/her own organization. Finally, the participant has taken an exam, which documents the acquired skills.

The participant of the Course has acquired:

• An overview of information security and the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard
• Methodology of implementing ISO 27001 in his/her own organization
• Tools for the preparation, roll out, evaluation and improvement of an information security management system
• A diploma of the acquired competencies (by a Pass)
• Inspiration for the work with information security management through exercises and group work with the other participants
