Over to dage er kursisten blevet undervist i grundlæggende risikostyring for informationssikkerhed med afsæt i ISO/IEC 27005. Kurset indbefatter en række cases, quizzer og øvelser, hvor kursisten arbejder med at udpege, kvalificere og håndtere risici. Som afslutning på kurset har kursisten bestået en eksamen, som tester i de erhvervede færdigheder:

Viden om udpegning og klassificering af følsomme og kritiske informationer
Indsigt i trussels-, sårbarheds- og konsekvenstyper
Identifikation, analyse, evaluering og håndtering af risici
Implementering af organisatoriske, tekniske, fysiske og adfærdsmæssige foranstaltninger
Forståelse for samspil og forskelle mellem informationssikkerhed og privatlivsbeskyttelse
Organisering og løbende evaluering af risikobilledet
