PM Level 2 - Professional Project Management

Target group

Project Managers approaching or holding a role leading low to medium-complexity projects.

Purpose

The purpose of PM Level 2 - Professional Project Management has been to both provide the participants with a profound knowledge and training in all core elements of project management as well as working in a digital and virtual setting. The course has been run entirely in a virtual environment, with 16 sessions including kick-off, 180-degree assessment feedback, oral exam, and lessons learnt.

Outcome

• The participants have gained solid competencies to plan, manage and systematically lead projects with a strong focus on the client and managing the business case.
• The core elements which have been dealt with and intensively trained are cost, time, scope, quality, risk, team, communication and change management. Furthermore, the participants have trained leadership skills like motivation, conflict resolution, feedback, facilitating a planning workshop and establishing and leading high-performing teams. Finally, the project manager as a trusted advisor has been trained.
• Through a 180-degree project manager assessment there is a focus on the individual development as project manager, performance and preferred leadership style to support an insight in what behaviours are mastered and which are not mastered and need further training.

The training is concluded with an examination containing a 10-15 pages exam assignment followed by an oral exam.
