LEARNING OBJECTIVES Given their attendance and active participation in the workshop activities, participants will have done the following by the end of the workshop. • Discussed the importance of developing programmes to address real-world business objectives; • Developed training objectives using Bloom’s Taxonomy to address business imperatives; • Incorporated real-world issues in designing programmes for relevance and transfer of learning; • Discussed learning styles and their use in selecting strategies for delivering training sessions; • Explored strategies for preparing training materials to support retention of training content; • Explored the emergence of multi-modal delivery platforms and designing to incorporate their use; • Examined strategies for facilitating participants’ interaction; • Discussed strategies for evaluating the impact of training interventions. • Developed and delivered an element of a training session of their choice incorporating the techniques introduced in the workshop.
