Purpose
The purpose of the programme has been to strengthen the participants’ project management capabilities and provide them with practical methods and tools for successfully planning, leading, and delivering projects. The programme has focused on both the technical and leadership aspects of project management, enabling participants to create value through effective project planning, stakeholder engagement, team collaboration, communication, facilitation, and leadership.

Content

The programme has covered key project management disciplines, including project definition and objectives, project governance, stakeholder management, project planning, milestone and activity planning, risk awareness, and project execution. Participants have worked with practical tools for defining project purpose, success criteria, deliverables, and acceptance criteria, as well as methods for creating project plans and managing project stakeholders effectively.

The programme has also addressed leadership and collaboration in projects, including facilitation, authentic leadership, influencing styles, conflict management, team development, situational leadership, and communication. Furthermore, participants have explored behavioural preferences through the DiSC® framework and gained insights into building high-performing project teams and adapting leadership approaches to different situations and stakeholders.

The training combined theoretical input, practical exercises, reflection, discussions, and application of project management tools to the participants’ own projects and work situations.
